......soon one can vote for one's favorite looter....Floyd VBS for Minister of Finance.....Gayton for President.....Jacob hot on his heels for the same spot....again....and with a larger criminal element able to cast a vote....possible that they can get a squeak.....

It's great that we officially have no load shedding but a large section of Pretoria east are still without power for 6 days and indication from the security groups is that late Wednesday evening the repair to the sub station will be completed, after the fire 🔥

Been a nightmare for many 😪

Biz News

Dear Dave

Leading political scientist RW Johnson explains what led him to investigate a Zuma-supporting, Kremlin-funded media operation - and wonders at Ramaphosa's inability to accept the reality of Putin's double play and the ANC's sharp decline in the polls.

Sobering and scary, Johnson's analysis reinforces the view that SA's elections on 29 May are shaking up as a make-or-break for the young democracy.

You can watch my interview with Johnson on BizNewsTV by  clicking here .

Just thought I would mention that there has been intermittent internet problems the last few days.

I also had problems with email from telkom out and inbox
Established today that their main system is down 🫢

Still the overseas cable breaks exist/persist...my telkom email started working about an hour again. I use Thunderbird as the client

What about Cyril signing the National Health bill

This is another massive concern and something else for the ANC to stuff up 😢

I was more hopeful in 2019 than i am today. I hoped Cyril would turn the ANC around. Even after the 2021 local elections and his win at Nasrec I thought we would see positive change for all in SA. Sadly he has failed and the hordes have control of the ANC in 2024. If ANC get above 50% the country is on a real bad trajectory and 2029 elections will irrelevant. If ANC gets below 45% Cyril will be removed and replaced by Paul Matshitile as president. Wont be instant but will happen. Sadly the Moonshot pact is dull and boring and dont inspire any confidence. The Chris Pappas is one shining light to emerge. In the end the 400 seat in parliament will be filled with a lot of dodgy characters come 1 June 2024. NPO'S and community organizations are going to need to be far more vocal from June. One hope is that the Moonshot grouping without the PA of Gayton Mckenzie can win Western Cape and Gauteng. The other 7 provinces probably ANC or ANC/EFF coalitions will suffice to run them. Nationally ANC/EFF will have enough o form a coalition government. Possibly even have Julius as the deputy president. Dark days ahead for SA. But then seems the world leaders have all eaten bags of Magic Mushrooms when u hear them speak.
