.. PS these tests are carried out twice weekly (Bundesliga 3 times a week)

that's crazy - no idea what the rational behind that can be, unless it is for the testing supply chain to make a fortune

Aye, talk of lower league football in Scotland mothballing the season because they can’t afford the regulations

Many a fortune to be made out of this crisis. 3 times a week does sound crazy.
In certain instances excessive testing may be necessary based on risk. Take Bournemouth keeper Ramsdale for example. Tested negative last week went he returned to training. One week later he tests positive . He is baffled, thinks he got it on trip to the shops.

If Religious services are allowed, which in my mind pose far greater risk EVER than Racing (only a set group of under 100 persons per race meeting per province yet multiple church meetings in every town in the country and proof already that the virus has spread at a church service) - If Racing is not allowed then I suggest that expensive Advocates take the Government on in the courts - I now more than ever believe Racing will start 1 June.

IMO if non-contact sport is permitted to return in level 3 of the lockdown and drafted in the government gazette which is published today, racing can resume and needs no confirmation from the government? Surely the government gazette will be enough confirmation?

Once all grooms and staff are Covid 19 tested, there shouldn`t be an issue

The only issue will be gatherings over 50

Remember a race track is a massive area.
To have no more than 50 people together should be manageable.

Lot easier than a Church?

We should make racing a religious gathering. A prayer held every 30 minutes at least 9 times a day...

"Oh look at this beautiful horses running on the grass... We are truly blessed!"

Health minister Zweli Mkhize told MPs that intense healthcare interventions are planned for hotspots, but if they do not reduce the spread of infection, more lockdowns could be considered

Hotspots could be kept on alert level 4 when the country moves to level 3 on June 1, it emerged on Tuesday.

The development raises immediate questions for business and the provinces about how such measures will be implemented, as President Cyril Ramaphosa did not mention that in his speech on Sunday night. At the time he said the entire country would move to level 3 on June 1.

this mhkize fella was probably the one that signed schabir shake's medical certificate to give him parole for "uncontrollable high blood pressure" - he apparently used "the wrong slide" when announcing lock down will stay at level 4 - oops
