One contributing factor to these inconsistent results is the lack of jockeymanship nevermind the fitness of the horse. 90% of the current jocks cannot read the pace of the race and I believe they do not study form. All this is based on the riding tactics used during a race. Certain horses are not ridden according to their ability but rather ridden according to the tactics used by the favourite in the race.

And the only one from the apprentice ranks who looks like making a career from race riding is a female.
We desperately need new talented jockeys in this country as apart from the top 10% we gonna get more bad rides than good from the rest of them.

No one riding better than Khumalo these days.

even like a cowboy..... YESTERDAY in the last race, where he took out HALF the field..but managed to stay in front at the business end.

They interview Snaith just before the off and his horse just manages to not come last by a short head.

With the odd penny on it but a major drift so obviously not expected to win.
But he managed to 4th in a 5 horse field with an odds on shot.
Our racing is becoming unexplainable.

Grant is a very talented rider. His short stint in HK honed his riding skills. If you look at him in race 4 and 6 just before they turn for home you can see that he is a thinking rider. He is lethal around short run in courses.

De Melo kills me.

Every time I back him he runs out.

The last 2 July's I left him out and he came and took me out of major P6's.

I cannot get this jock right!!!!!!
