Would have no chance in the QP against the big boys. She is better further and the logical path is Victress and then Paddock Stakes. Pretty Betty will go the same route, and I don't think that there is much between them.
Betty was in need of this run, and was baulked costing her second place. Would have been 3 lengths closer without the interference.
It will be interesting to see whether Captain's Ransom goes for the QP or the Paddock. Also may see War of Athena here as well in the Paddock Stakes.
Desert Miracle is the other interesting Gauteng filly. She will likely be here for the Cape Fillies Guineas, but its unclear whether she also try the Paddock. I would think more likely to be saved for the Gauteng classics.
