Thanks for the unbiased comments gents.
With respect i still disagree.
The rules are only enforced at certain times Sadly.
For punters to keep taking this battering is #$&%@#$&,,,,,
Heads need to roll and a louder and much more clear explanation needs to be forth coming.

IMHO it was absolutely the right decision. Finishing really well and impeded by the inside horse hanging onto him. Still only beaten a shorthead.

Agree with Dean123, the inconsistency in applying the rules is there for all to see. Different centre Stipes have different interpretations about similar incidents and that is hurting us mugs all the time.

When Richard Fourie stated in the post race interview that his mount was hanging out, I knew he was going to lose that race.

sorry to read punters took one on the chin in the last.
Mr Marshall in an early interview said r2 x r8 & r9 were his best for the day.
however,if any of you caught trainer JSnaith r1 winning comments, regarding the r9 3 year olds being very competitive " B grade Guineas field "
He was so bullish on #6.objection was fair.

Mauritius race 3 today pretty similar to the last in the Cape.
Bumped him but only once and won by only a shorthead with both riders not having to stop riding.
Let's see what their stipes think
