Brandon is also the smartest presenter on tv when it comes to punting knowledge - He rightfully acknowledged, which I am certain would not even be a consideration for his fellow presenters on air, that the Beverly PA pool was as low as it is today because the punters were caught unaware due to 240 not giving this any coverage until right before the off.
Before commenting on what he says, understand why he says it, and then decide if it is him, or him appreciating what is funding racing, and his job, as Sammy pointed out.

All I can say is that this De Melo has really developed into a smart jockey.
He has future champion jockey stamped all over him.

I understand that the employees are in a difficult position and glad at least we now get a fixed price show.
Must say that Brandon does give the punters a voice by calling the fixed odds more than most 😉

2 years 11 months agoTo be fair to Brandon - It is his job to punt the tote.
You can also hear when he talks that he is not ignorant to the fact that what he is saying is not what punters want to do/hear, but he has to say it anyway. He even acknowledges that most punters mute the TV while watching - He said so please unmute W2W and give them a follow.
LOL - if they are muted (?!) - right, they gonna hear him anyway?
other presenters - they don't work for the tote so don't have to punt the tote?

Irish wildflower.
Much improved last run,the jock was working her at the 400m mark and ran on nicely but could really get traction in the going!
