Thanks fingers we considering options but plan is to be in the flat for minimal time during retirement.
I do have data on phones etc but do like a big screen.

@ Dave - an Ups is about 40 cms by 40 cms - had mine since 2009 - runs big screen tv, desktop, laptop, wireless and various small items

Sorry Fingers I was speed reading and trying to punt at same time got the impression that inverter probably better than UPS ?

2 years 11 months agoups (uninterrupted power supply), inverter - same thing - uses one or more batteries, switches over seamlessly, warning beeps if batteries get too low, fully charges batteries when escom switches on again - absolutely no hassle until a new battery is neededSorry Fingers I was speed reading and trying to punt at same time got the impression that inverter probably better than UPS ?
