Just an update from the track for all the viewers, they suspect Jeff may have a fractured collar bone and he will be rushed to hospital for further observation.

With these big fields at the Vaal there are bound to be lurkers and upsets. 50-1 18-1 etc today. At least when I was looking at the prices. My Bipot is LOOONG gone and my software likes a total outsider in the race two experts have taken apart so far...

Another tough race coming up in the 6th - Son of Raj ran to higher last time imo - but not sure how he will go in the softish conditions - a lurker at 50/1 to consider is Gregor Macgregor (just shortened into 33s) - has run well in the soft before

Munger might get a forced holiday for that but i tell you i enjoyed seeing him give Muzi a bit of his own medicine. I'm all for being competitive but when you blatantly move over towards the rail to stop another horse evidently travelling better than yours, you deserve a klap or 2......Muzi and his antics with Lyle in one race at Greyville will always be etched in my mind.

Plus i backed Munger's horse so yay!!!

If you like Celestial it will start closer to 1-1. If you like King Of Rome wait, you should get 3-1 or better.

Silvano's Song will go closer to 7-1.

He's definitely going to the 'sin bin' for that. I don't agree with Muzi clearly intimidating like he did, but Munger can't do that. that's a month minimum.

Yes Muzi was using intimidating and dangerous tactics but Munger's horse should have been disqualified for the jockeys actions.
You can't whip another jockey in a race.
