Mathew Thackeray long ban for that? hopefully Syster is ok

Not long enough imo

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) At approximately the 1400m, Jockey J R Syster was dislodged from ALABAMA STORM, which stumbled and fell after clipping the heels of DAME COLLEEN (M Thackeray), which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey J R Syster was attended to by the course medics on the scene for a suspected fractured collar bone, transferred to the medical centre and thereafter dispatched to hospital for further observation.
b) Jockey M Thackeray was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of DAME COLLEEN, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ALABAMA STORM (J R Syster) when he shifted in at approximately the 1400m. Jockey M Thackeray signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of fourteen days.
Suspension dates are to be advised.
c) In view of the Starter’s report with regard to STORM JEWEL, this filly’s starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable jumping with a companion.
Suspension dates: 10 February 2023 to 16 February 2023. STORM JEWEL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B Webber was advised.
d) MEMORIAL DAY (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
Trainer S Moffatt advised (MS).

Parr cops 20 meetings as shocking fall injures Tom Marquand

Star English rider Tom Marquand had to be taken to St Vincent's Hospital with a shoulder injury and possible concussion after an ugly race fall in the $2m Inglis Millennium, putting his trip to Qatar later this week in serious doubt.

Marquand came crashing to the turf with his mount Dorothy Gail when he was tightened for room at the 300m mark of the two-year-old feature.

A remorseful Parr pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge over the incident and was handed a 20-meeting suspension which commenced at the conclusion of the meeting. Parr returns on March 15.
