But Muhti, I think the gripe from Mark Sham - is that they ACTUALLY did fly BUSINESS CLASS.

.....I'm sure Mark and most others here know who I am.....came out under my real name and then got banned from HW for speaking my mind.....I can assure you that through pure observance and experience that the NHRA chap did not pay for the upgrade and if he was gifted it he should have turned it down on principal....and if he did pay for it ....he is a thicker prick for trying to look like he is very flush and self important .....and you deserve to be berated because you seem to be a bit of a stirrer and put your nose in a matter that is hardly defensible.....

Re: God’s gift to racing
2 years 1 month agoI don’t have to as both Elvis and Mutiman have given their names previously.
You seem to have missed the point totally but good luck if they managed an upgrade out of a very full economy class.
As I only have half the facts please tell us the other half Jaypeg19?
I don’t have to “feign moral superiority “ but merely want everyone to know how the big boys abuse their position . And we’ve seen this first hand
You are a moral crusader Mark. Don't feign coyness now. The half is that the the NHA person allegedly seen did sit in what was previously first class but which had no takers at the higher rate. Given your great skill at predicting from half facts you could get the airline to confirm that.
By the way, your supposed senior person in racing, ask him to tell you a bit about the skeletons in his closet, of which there are many. One should never cast too many stones lest your own be thrown back at you. If I were you I'd check my sources properly next time I quoted them.

Jaypeg (and I’ve worked out who you are) please tell me where I’ve ever put anything on ABC that wasn’t the full truth (no halves) .
I only stand up when there’s been a wrongdoing against this game we love wether it involves me or not.
I don’t throw my lines into murky waters and pull out a fishy story to tell.

.....did not know much about Dr Jekyll until what happened with the horse savaging grooms protest in PE....another carpet stuffing exercise at NHRA.....and to add insult to injury yesterday they put an insert on the GC/GallopTV feed of this character laying down the law in the jockey room and telling the little chaps to race cleanly yet competitively which seemed to have fallen on deaf ears.....if the NHRA wants to portray a better public image they should curtail any form of extravagance in these trying times.....

Re: God’s gift to racing
2 years 1 month ago.....I eventually divorced SAA through their unfriendly bad attitude and poor service and lost my upper tier status not clocking enough miles with them and other STAR alliance partners....and then started using the Premier Lounges though my bank card perks.....after some time they cottoned on to the smarter travelers and would not allow one to use the lounge prior to 1 hour before boarding time.........it is not for the luxury of a bigger more comfortable front seat.....it is for the business class lounge where you can arrive early and freely drink and eat.....an absolute disgrace for a mere 1 hr flight..... would they nomally travel BUSINESS CLASS out their OWN pockets........ i'm sure nott !!![]()
Muhti, agreed - I recently made use of the business lounge at O.R.T. ( via my FNB Credit card usage ) on my way to S,America....... we went Economy.... so yes one can make use of the Business lounge, but it does not matter which class u travel.

You have failed to provide any verifiable proof in this case yet you talk of full truths. And good for you that you have "worked me out". Now how about showing me the actual ticket purchased showing a payment for a business class seat and disclose the source of your picture or evidence. That would be a full truth rather then the patent speculation you have indulged in here.

Jay, FYI the business class seat or should I say seats, was the talk of the town in Durban

So aptly eloquent for a new member it almost feels like you have been here for a few decades. And so childish in response but so apt in perceived maturity. I need tell nothing, you know it all. You possess all the full-truths. How do you explain to your mates that you were at one time, or rather many times, in my company? Or was that all a Sham simply to pull information from me or an attempt to put me in a compromising situation? You may find the compromise is yours and that dead men walking talk a lot from the grave.
Good luck in future and enjoy your day further.

Of course it was. A certain "senior person" has an axe to grind and found an easy story and many willing listeners. There are many willing ears in Durban for stories which are neither verified nor true but which play to the theme wanted and desired.
If you were in anyway objective you'd ask for the actual proof rather than a hand-me-down story which you personally were unable to verify.
Show me the proof Bob.
