Apart from 1 or 2 ppl, it doesn't seem that we have any Run For It fans here. I really think this horse is a hige runner. If Felix can have him in the first 8 turning for home, then i think he will fight out the finish. Ran on strongly from the back of the field last time in losing to The Apache. I for one don't think Felix will make the same mistake this time around..........just my opinion, but i will stick to it.........

Run for it has as good a chance as any in the race. Having looked far and wide for the pace-maker in the race I have come to the conclusion that it may come from Emerald Cove. This filly has done this job before, has a lot of natural speed and has one of the best pace-making jocks around in Richard Fourie. Run For It will probably need a good pace so this makes a lot of sense to me.

What worries me with Run For It is that he likes to run from the back so it will be very unlikely that he will be in the first half of the field turning into the straight. There is no doubt he has the ability to win the race but will need a lot of luck in running which puts me off him winning.

I believe that Igugu is a much better Filly than most of the Clan appear to think.

Whilst I agree that 55kg is a lot of weight for a 3 year od Filly, the way she won the Triple [even against moderate opposition] certainly gives her a massive chance.
MDK is without doubt the best Trainer in SA [if not the World] and will have her spot on, I think she will be 2 lengths clear coming for home and kick off the bend to win going away.

I believe MDK is worried about igugu's turn of foot and as such I think delpech is gonna send her clear at the top of the straight.

Probably not a bad strategy considering there are so many hold up horses.

Nothing has come close to her once she's hit the lead.

Here goes:

1st Black wing ( best gallop of those i saw, loves Greyville ,pipe opener last time and will be running on strongly)

2nd The Apache ( really kuk gallop ,top class 3yo , brilliant last win 2nd run out of quarantine station and most scope of the 3yo's,will
also be running on)

3rd Flirtation (nice gallop behind igugu, looks to have been saved for this race and has escaped the radar, will love gdfrm going
well weighted , nice run to dwtd last time , races well fresh and will also be running on )

4th Igugu
(top top 3yo filly, impressive form , loves to dictate , no stamina doubts , will put up a fight.)

5th Pj

6th Run for it

I bloody well hope so !!!!!!

Ant - You are spot on with all the above. I like The Apache and Black Wing.
Have some pennies on both at long odds.
