Titch, how can one not get personal when you write such crap. Andrew clearly thought he had the race sewn up and went soft on the horse. Just now you will be telling us it was a good ride ! The Cape stipes have been after Andrew for years and today he gave them the ammunition to do end his career.

he NEVER at any time stops riding the horse out even when he looks over his shoulder he is still riding the horse Andy is well known for not using the stick unless absolutely needed which he did over the last 50 meters,,,I have watched the race on numerous occasions now and he does not stop pushing the horse out...it was hanging in badly a sure sign of a very tired horse..what is being overlooked here is the brilliant ride by Richard to get up on the rail

Harris I have spoken to him about the race and what was going through his mind was that the horse was running on empty never at any stage did he believe that he had the race won FACT!!

Why look over your shoulder? Head down and ride for the line. He only looked over his shoulder to see how far ahead he was. Typical showmanship. I thought only horses wear blinkers.

Titch dont worry about what was going through his mind as obviously not the race. Why not just do what he is paid for and ride it to the line? its like the law in SA if you commit the crime you have more rights than the person who has been robbed

watch the race and tell me when at any stage he puts his hands down or even stops riding the horse out he never pulled the stick and cut the horse in half because the horse had had enuff and giving it a beating would have not helped..

Titch, what do you want him to do ? Admit guilt ? When did he say the enquiry is ?
