BC I agree 100% The Andrew that won the title and the Andrew of today are worlds apart,he dedicated that entire year to winning the championship but nowadays his priorities have shifted and he spends a lot more time reconnecting with his 2 young children who now live with him and racing has to a large extent taken a back seat, but contrary to popular belief he gives 100% when he is at work.
i spent the year and traveled with Andy when he won his title and the regime he had to follow in order to win it was unbelievable he fought his weight for the entire year running a minimum of 2 hours every day and sometimes going 2 days without a meal living on those protein shakes, we once drove up to Kim after a Sunday meeting at Clairwood and drove the entire trip with the windows closed and the heater on full blast Andy wore a plastic sweat suit and a track suit, by the time we got to Kim he weighed 58kg and I weighed around 48
so for him to keep up that sort of work rate would have seen him burnt out and long gone.
I did email you some time back regarding the Mauritius proposition please let me know if you did not recieve it and I will respond,,,maybe we should send Andy

One can assume that our world champion stipes did not bother to question Andrew

Harris you are 1 sad person to make a statement like that, there can be no less glamorous job than a jockey agent so I certainly have no delusions of grandeur in that regard being craped on by trainers when Muzi rides a bad race or getting abuse from him when I take a "moderate" ride makes me an emotional punch bag more than anything else and i cant for the life of me see how I could regard myself as above anyone, I do it for the same reason as most owners , the love of the game I certainly could not make a living out of it in fact any suspension and I will show a loss for the month........as for your point about the greater majority here dont agree with me so i cant possibly be right I think a good analogy would be the fact that Robert Magabe won the most recent election in Zim by a landslide.
