The demise of Andrew Fortune

His ride on Winter Dynasty was the one we always feared would be his downfall. Hands down and looking around and then trying to restart the engine. I am afraid he will be off for a long time if not for good this time.

Harris, i really hope so! He is doing the punters money in cold blood! Any case, i can't even remember when last he had a winner! Yogas is better off giving his mounts to someone else.....anyone else!

How many times has he done that.

Yogas might as well send Veale to ride his horses.

I met Yogas at the Durban airport this morning and he was confident he will win 4 of the races with his fancied horses bar the first timer! If Yogas wants to win races in Cape Town he must fly Sean Veale , that boy is different class! It was strange to see Yogas in durban when he had so many fancied runners in CT, so keep an eye on his Durban runners tommorow boys

BC - Bernard will be back on our shores soon. He has a good strike rate for Yogas.
the problem is that Bernard will be joining the Bass stable for the Cape feature season.

The ride on Winter Dynasty was diabolical - he thought he had it in the bag only to get nailed by a jock riding out to the line . What about the whip rule now? If he had ridden it out with a few smacks he would have won. His next ride was no better getting stuck on the rail - but in fairness not sure that would have won anyway. We wait with baited breath to see what the powers that be have to say or do.

A jockey will receive his riding fee irrespective of a good or bad ride, who gives a rats arse about the punter.
Both punters & owners should accept this is horse racing!
