i have also tried using these patterns to my advantage now,,....and thats 1 area ,i think we are still in control of the situation...because if we feel so strongly that we are being done in,...and see a pattern or trend emerging...then its only natural to use it to our advantage...and not banker the most obvious...which seems to be working in my favour at the moment....but having said all that....in the major race on saturday...i am bankering what a winter(fool some may say)...but i just think..on its last run...and being a feature..i would think that i would get a full run for my money

By far my biggest sorry with What A Winter is whether he stays sound, not what his pilot may or may not be up to.

I hope so, Racing Guru. I think he took quite a knock during the Durban season (possibly in the Scottsville race, although I don't know for sure). He was impressive in his comeback race, though, and the one thing that I wouldn't be concerned about at all is the 2nd run after a rest syndrome.

It's a real step up in class for Divine Jet. If he's as good as his reputation then he will most likely win, but I find it hard to blissfully ignore the horses with solid proven Graded race form to their names.

Mr Magic...thanks....i saw the race where divine jet won..it won very easily..as if it was cruising in...jockey was just holding the reins..not makin it run ...yet it cruised in...thats the only reason i say it will kill this feild if making it run full on

precisely....divine jet has it all to do...and is probably better than this field...but its not gonna have my money to test his ability...in my pa...i am going....silver flyer, gmtgl, variety club...still thinking if i should throw in the filly....because its all class....and fortune did say...its the best filly he's sat on....(dont know how many good ones he's sat on in his career.....but i am sure he has ridden quite a few good ones in his life...lol...FILLIES THAT IS).....

Divine Jet is one of those that would not surprise me equally if he won by 3 lengths or finished 6th. And it has nothing at all to do with his jockey.>:D<
