Who knows, hence Magic's statement that none where found. They didn't find any. They looked and looked, because they said they were there, and then it wasn't there, nor could they find bitty bits and pieces, or boxes, or any clue of them.

And so we get closer and closer to the difference between
A) Facts 1. Knowledge or information based on real occurrences: an account based on fact; Verifiable truth.
And it's opposite,
B) Fabrication.

FC, your fabrications are as good, or bad, as mine. Can't you stick to what you know rather? Same goes for the conspiracy geeks who think that every time a horse wins a race, that it was supposed to be one of the other 10 that they happen to have chosen. It's time we remember that most sentences the begin with "I think..." turn out to be utterly wrong. I think I'm as guilty as the next person.

i dont anything about weapons or politics but here are some facts
1. From the 80's Iraq was at war / attcked Iran, Kuwait, Saudi and Israel.
2. He used chemical weapons on the Kurds. I find it hard to believe that a man with his hunger for war and resources would not obtain these weapons.

the only thing certain in politics is that there are no "cold hard facts". We are only allowed to see or know what 'they' want us to know. As far as your facts are concerned, you can find these as common knowledge:-

Quote:
"United States support for Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War, as a counterbalance to post-revolutionary Iran, included several billion dollars worth of economic aid, the sale of dual-use technology, non-U.S. origin weaponry, military intelligence, Special Operations training, and direct involvement in warfare against Iran.[3][4]"

In other words the US created the monster then had to get rid of him once he grew to big to handle.

Can you guys that want to say that jocks are pulling horses and are dishonest please just contact the NHRA with your evidence and stop posting it here..

I` m the first to say when a jock has made a cunt of a ride (imo) but there is a big difference from a rider underperforming on a horse to stopping a horse..

It`s the holidays and we are sick of recieving notices of actions..

Thanks

....and the winner for the most (un)popular Jockey and hottest topic for three years in a row Mr K Neisius!

Jeez this topic has been flogged to death on this forum! Must be the third year in a row, if not more. If you dont think he can win, don't back him.

The illegal invasion of Iraq by Bush and his little lap dog Blair was planned well before 9/11. Blair was in Camp David a few months after Bush was illegally elected into the White House (remember the voting in Florida was rigged) Convenient to have your brother as the Governor of Florida at the time. Saddam had no WMD and the fact is that they did not even look for WMD as they well knew that they did not exist. Hans Blix told them so and when he said he needed another week to confirm that they were no WMD Bush and Blair decided that they need to attack. Bush wont find himself in front of Judges at The Hague because American law protects him but for sure within 2 years Blair will be at the Hague. What did American planes drop on Fallujah????????? Not sweets and candy for the kids.

If Obama is voted out at next years US elections by a war mongering neo con Republican then there will definatley be an attack and a war with Iran.

Ask yourself this. Which country and which company is rebuilding Iraq. American and Haliburton (part owned by Dick Cheney the US Vice President at the time of the Iraq invasion) and you think that SA politics is corrupt. You aint seen nothing compared to American politics.

Alcaponee

I couldn't agree with you more! If you don't like him don't support him (in any form that you find fit).

Hibernia, i didn't know the courts serve notices on public holidays.

I have never entered this debate as its best to just form your own opinion/s and punt accordingly.
However, there is one point that is highlighted by Al's post......for at least the last 3 years.there has been an awful lot of smoke, just no sign of fire!

I just saw Karl in the tote. He was getting his PA's on for tomorrow. He must have spent about 25k. He was wearing dark glasses and a cap and I dont think anyone else recognised him. Having said that I only saw 2 other people in the shop. When he left I asked the cashier for his coupons and she gave them to me. Should I post them up ?

Anyone can come on here and make statements like the one above. Where is the smoke Rob ? I have not seen any. The man is in his mid 50's and has had a glittering career. Let people with evidence go to the Jockey Club and lodge a complaint, but stop coming on here and tarnishing his image with unsubstantiated claims from bad losers who have far more losing days than winning ones.

The SMOKE is the endless accusations......the FIRE would be any evidence......You really are a strange one.......I am NOT supporting the theme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone can come on a forum using a pseudonym so nobody knows he's thick as a plank!

Who would believe that I could have suddenly become an accuser after defending Karl in my post on the 15/12/11 at 7:24pm ,on this thread?

Its funny how your two topics relating to jocks and pulling horses has the most views and posts in the general racing section, I thought ABC was the voice of the south african punter but it seems more like the voice of the jockey association! IMO horses are natural athletes and love to run given free reign so just as the jocks can restrain them, switch them of , detect if something is amiss during the running, ask them for more at the finish then I'm sure they are able to pull them. So even if most the accusations here are untrue and you are being served with notices hibs then that is a victory for Punters, it means that the jocks know they are being watched when they ride and will think twice if they want to try something.

Look at the winter dynasty saga, it had the whole south african racing public talking for a few days and it all started here, whether he pulled the horse or not the msg to other jocks were very clear, the racing public that's unhappy about a ride has a place to voice their opinion a place where they can vent their anger regardless of their class, race or sex!

In future even if I hear anything that's interesting I won't post it to save you any notices

Remember we posted Ebony Flyer breathing problem and exclusion from natal season before any racing media

We posted Disa Lida joining MDK in dubai first

We posted Neil Bruss relocating to Cape and joining Lamerskraal first

We posted amateur mauritian trainer buying top SA horses and going for the title first ( btw he was top trainer during int jockey weekend in the island)

I've been in racing for a few years but I do have some experience on what goes on behind the scenes, from working as a groom for Tony Rivalland and living in the summerveld hostel to assisting the first black trainer in SA. To rubbing shoulders with top trainers and jockeys from SA and other parts of the world so nobody can pull thhe wool over my eyes!

There may be smoke with no fire but remember most cases people die of smoke inhalation and not burns!
