If their job is to read the prices and moves and tip the top three in betting, then they might as well hire cute babes with cleavage. I'm sure this would help viewership. This will give the fashion channel some serious competition too. All the middle aged men and some older folk will be hooked into the "GG's" presented in bikinis.

There is a lot to be unhappy about and everyone is entitled to their opinion,just accepting what we are told or not told is just not good enough..

So hopefully we now have someone who will enlighten those of us that 'haven't a clue' - always willing to learn

Frodo, below is what I posted in another thread and this is what I was alluding to by saying "haven't a clue";
Let's use cricket as an example. I have seen posts about covering the race courses like they cover a cricket pitch. Well lets look at it realistically with 2 examples I can think of. Firstly, they cover exactly that the cricket pitch not the entire cricket field. Correct me if I'm wrong but in horse racing the "cricket pitch" is the entire racing surface. Secondly, compare the square area of a cricket pitch that is covered with that of a racing surface. You are comparing a couple of hundred square metres to tens of thousands. Covering a racing surface will take considerably more time,man power and material.
So does covering a racing surface like a cricket pitch still sound like a practical idea?

Well it may not be that practical, but it you think about it, some areas of the racing surfaces are affected worse than others - I have often heard - 'it is too wet around the turn' - or in the case of Greyville, the 'pull-up' area seems to be affected the worst - so maybe thought can be given to covering those areas at the specific tracks - imo to just label suggestions as 'haven't a clue' is not the answer
And if covering is impractical, what is the solution then - apart from having an AW surface, which is not going to happen in the near future?

Topless Scandanavian female news readers turned racing analyists would probably increase Tellytrack viewerships and if they get their selections wrong they won't feel like tits.

Back to the topic - instead of Cecil waffling on an on telling us stuff that we already know, or stuff that we don't need to know - would have loved to hear what the jockeys said of the condition of the track (td)
