Racing knowledge,up to date with the facts,a bit of humour does not go out of place, knowing what questions to ask when doing an interview are just a few.

In the studio, putting himself in the viewers seat and trying to imagine WHAT HE WOULD WANT TO SEE AND HEAR while sitting in his lounge. Then providing that view or information accurately. I know that the views etc. are controlled by the producer. Readng the betting off every screen to VIEWERS for me is weird and largely irritating ...continuous monologue.

One who does not speak too much.
I can read the betting boards fine no help needed.
I can read the net pool just fine.
Keep there tips to themselves, rather tell me what they saw on course that looked well. What jocks said even what the owners said.
Dont tell me how many winners they backed after the result.
No jokes that only they understand
Good start.

I one thing the Tellytrack "Viewers" need to understand, is that several people like me at work listen to "Tellytrack audio" during the week at work. So I cannot see the betting scolling or obvious information that the viewers can see on screen.

neil andrews is the best . he is passionate about his job which i really appreciate . he is always willing to say it as he saw it . now that's a man with character . compared to other presenters , he is worlds ahead . that's what we need , a presenter to take the bull by the horns . oh , and he has never said " i am confident that the horse will most probably win " , try to sound or look intelligent - in other words he does not waste our precious time just before a race .
