he is not be a losing gambler
he knows the merit rating system
he only tells the viewers what they don't know or don't on the screen
he does not read betting slides, time form, big ben or sport light tips
he does not go on about betting pools, pa's, jackpots,etc
he does his research for the races ahead and for racing in general
he knows when to speak and when to shut up
