Years ago i wasted my time taking Maggs to a tote to show her how hard it was for punters to GIVE their money to Phumelela - Nothing changes and yes I am Negative because people don't have an ounce of respect for the punters that butter their bread(or cake perhaps)
They should hang their heads in shame when they get their salaries!

I have no intention of ever writing about any of my horses on ABC again.

I want to enjoy myself and that seems to be an impossibility given some characters that people these boards.

That's a pity Barry as she has to be the new talking horse in SA.

Barry why are you being so sensitive? Why do you pay attention to the naysayers?

I agree with Scotia, a great pity. I believe most people on this forum wish u success anyway.

Anyway if I am privileged enough to own horses in the future I would gladly share my info about my horses well being, future plans etc. I won't forget that once upon a time I was a simple punter too.

Done a bit of googeling and found this....

Beyer Speed Figures are a fantastic handicapping tool but even Andrew Beyer himself would tell you that you cannot rely on speed figures alone. They are one of many valuable tools that you should use to handicap a race. Automatically giving the edge to a horse that earned a 95 rating in his last race over the horse that earned an 85 could be a huge mistake if the horse that earned the 85 had a horrible trip, bad ride, and broke slow.

"Now that I am in Dubai I have been going on Formgrids, to study form back home, quite a lot...bloody hell it is really comprehensive... impressive and an invaluable tool to study with... no one should buy a horse in South Africa without checking its form out on your website... hope it goes well for you."

Mike De Kock (Trainer)

"I live on Formgrids, I don't know how racing would go on without it, It helped me to win my championship"

Andrew Fortune (Jockey)

"I am addicted to FORMGRIDS."

Anton Marcus (Jockey)

"Firstly well done with the site, brilliant stuff. I am addicted to it, and as a jockey it is a huge help selecting the right rides. Every free moment while riding at track I'm looking up form lines on my phone and comparing how they worked."

Quinton Riddle (Jockey)

"Formgrids is the most exciting thing to come out of racing since I've been around, we on it all the time."

Scott Kenny

"Formgrids is a mile ahead of anything else. It's a simple user friendly site and what impresses me the most is how quickly it's updated. Formgrids is permanently in my favorites bar. I know of many trainers, jockeys and jockey's agents that only use formgrids."

Mark Neisius (Jockey)

"I don't care what anyone says your site is the best by far to study form- recently had a horse run that was the worst on the day from 4 1160m races(about 45-50 horses) - I used the LBH tool to find this in seconds - difficult for my trainer to then tell me it was not a bad run - similarly got another fair horse that has good form and a quick 5 second look using Formgrids confirms this. A division better than anything else and with proper funding could offer so much more. Not consulting formgrids before punting a horse is like buying a car without a test drive - just plain stupid!! Keep up the GREAT work David and your team."

Mr Hawaii

"David, your site is the most vital tool for me in Racing..."

Louis Goosen (Trainer)

"Very, very informative. A must for Jockeys and anyone who takes his racing seriously. It has been a great help to me. I use it all the time."

Sean Cormack (Leading Natal Jockey)

"Absolutely marvelous, superb. The best site I have ever come across. It's been a great, great help to me. I use it all the time."

Rob Champion
(Cape Town's leading jockey agent. He books rides for Karl Neisius, Gerrit Schlechter and Piet Botha)

"Excellent, this is so easy to use to study form. Very, very good. I like it very much."

Kevin Shea (Master Jockey)

"Formgrids has been identified by our expert players around the world as the 'REAL DEAL'."

BETFAIR

"Very informative. Easily accessible. Very, very good. Excellent. I have already recommended it to my overseas clients to use."

Dean Kannemeyer (Top Cape Town Trainer)

"Excellent, excellent, excellent. This is exactly what I need as an agent. I use it all the time."

Ray Curling
(One of South Africa's top jockey agents. Ray can boast a record breaking 335 winners in one season, two July's and two SA championships)

"Mate, I registered, logged in etc, it is very comprehensive... it does lead back to being able to assess the information which is given, and then doing your own weights and measures etc. from previous runs, which is fair enough. As good as I've seen, compared to our best form guides. Well done. Good luck!"

Australian Racing Expert

"I have used horse racing sites all over the world, but this site is in a league of its own."

Andrew Bonn
(Horseracing TV Presenter)

"Greatest aid for any serious punter I have ever seen. Exceptional and very innovative. Very, very easy to use.
'You can quote me'."

Stan Elley
(Cape Town Race Horse Trainer and TV Presenter)

"Fast, brilliantly conceived, unique and a must for form studiers. Regularly upgraded with new add-ons and features, this site deserves a technical award."

Leon Setaro
Freeracer.co.za

"Dear David, I would like to congratulate you on your Formgrids. As a Racing Analyst I see the immense value in your web site and would heartily recommend it to my clients. In fact I use them daily and this week I managed to tip the pick-six which paid over R56,000 as a results of information I gleaned from the grids. Thank you and I wish you all the best as you develop it further."

John Sweet
www.profit.co.za

"Formgrids takes handicapping one step further..."

Vee Moodley
Racing Control Manager

Mister a says: "these guys dont agree with you Barry and nor do I"

Barry Irwin is 100% correct. It is also my opinion that he is trying to help you and not run you down. Your program is a wonderful program, but it is a stand alone, that on it own will never reach the heights that it should, regardless of how good it is.

How much money have you made from it David? Therein lies the proof. Do yourself a favor and take it to the next level. Look at Formstar ( formstar.net/racing/index.php ). Use your data and produce a race card with predictions like that and you have a winner. That is the component that is missing from Formgrids.

If you are a businessman; then listen to easy and Barry Irwin, they mean good not bad. On the other hand, if Formgrids is your CHARITABLE contribution to the racing world, then I understand your point.

It seems to me mister a does not need to earn a living by a selling a race card but simply wants to empower the rest of the racing community. Looking at the number of people already benefiting from formgrids it is only common sense that the powers embrace the product. hopefully one day some forward thinking CEO will see the value in formgrids and give it the support it deserves.
