Think Lloyd was on Model Man and think he lost on the post, cauz my dad backed him and we heard a lot of that for a while.

Main Man [Jeff LLoyd] beat Model Man [Basil Marcus] in heads up heads down to the wire. Was a great run by Pat Lunn's champ as he was giving Main Man a lump of weight.

The Rothmans July winner Bush Telegraph ran 3rd.In the July he had beaten Model Man who was again conceding tons of weight to him.

Similar duel was that of Rock Star vs Anytime Baby at Gosforth Park, so long ago I can hardly remember who won (!), but under correction, think Basil Marcus on Rock Star might have pipped GT on Anytime Baby?
