You are so right. There are very very few successful gamblers, in any form. I enjoy horseracing. I do not normally gamble (because it is a gamble) But each to his own. I just dislike people forcing their point of views upon others. People are impoverished in many forms...

There is nothing new about these revelations............it has been an accepted fact that +-5% of punters consistently ,and in the long term,make profits. The sadder thing,therefore,is that 95% are losers.
Interesting that the stats are similar for poker,forex and share trading ..............in fact.anything that is speculative.
There is little doubt that the key is the money management (or staking plans) together with patience,discipline and lastly the utilisation of knowledge/odds
I am fascinated with forex trading and have spoken to a number of people (tried to restrict to smart/historically successful people)who all maintain "you cant make a profit out of forex".Some of the greatest fortunes have been made by successful forex traders so that is not a true statement,merely a popular one.
We are back to the human nature aspect that is so popular ........"if I can't do it ,it can't be done."
