Jeff Lloyd has spent the majority of his 51 years living in South Africa. He went to school here, trained to be a jockey here and was SOUTH AFRICAN champion jockey 5 times. No SOUTH AFRICAN jockey has ridden more winners than Jeff. I would be very surprised if he is currently not a SOUTH AFRICAN citizen even if he is living and working in Australia. By some of you guys warped reasoning Francios Louw and Schalk Brits do not qualify to play for the Springboks tomorrow.

Even if he is an Australian Citizen, it doesn't mean that he is not ALSO a South African citizen. After 2002 I believe every South African living abroad now have that luxury according to the SA government.
