Maybe Tellytrack can get Brett and Robyn in with Larry and they can broadcast a live discussion between the 3 of them... Lets see if Rutherford has the balls to do that or is he just another puppet for Phumelela....

Anybody can make a mistake - imo Mr Wainstein made a mistake when he mentioned in a press release that the jocks will be awarded their Protea colours, without checking that all the ducks were in a row and that this was sanctioned by the applicable body.

But to then come on air and deny making a mistake, is not on imo and then to blame somebody else for questioning your actions,without having these people present to defend their actions - I agree with Jack Dash

We all agree that we want to take racing 'forward' and we can agree or disagree with the 'rules', but if you follow the rules as they are, you don't need to be wary of 'lawyer types'

But what did Robyn do to get Larry's goat....? They have responded in the SP only after the USO show but it looks like Larry has done more harm to his image than they to theirs' .......bottom line the jockey challenge was not done through official channels and assumptions were made that it was legitimate

When the truth becomes the enemy that's when we fall. The attack on Robyn was cowardly and completely uncalled for, I know she will take it standing up but if anyone truly has horse racing interests at heart it's her! The sad truth is that you get the leaders you vote for and on that count alone we are all accountable for their actions. Personally I'm ashamed to be associated with an industry that is prepared to attack someone fighting for the truth!!!

Brett has every right to highlight the wrongs in racing until they get it right.....l tried to give Larry the benefit of doubt that he was misquoted in the press but attacking people shows the strategy of his defense.........

Whew - what a to do !

Firstly, thanks for being kind enough and open-minded enough to see that there may actually be more than one side to the story - I assure you there is and, as Tellytrack is apparently not interested in my side of things, I intend to save it for the Sporting Post.

As for who loves horses more, well, you guys and gals are all intelligent enough to make your own decisions.

rich coming from a man whose taken his 30 pieces of silver.if their was any hollywood directors watching they definitely would cast him as a secondhand car salesman.

Important to remember how the position was earned................had all the appearances of a trade off for doing an about turn on the "concerned owners" issue??????

Ja most have short memories and do not join the dots that the man that Larry tries to bully was once on his side.....this is like the Roman empire where you can turn on your backers and rule unchallenged....if this were a popularity contest it would be lost on sheer poor image.....
