I have been 100% in this game for my whole adult life ( and teens) and wont swallow shit or get out of this game and that suggestion is weak but thanks

Orig.Bobby Bean,your point is spot on........................... Lloyd is good guy and great rider but DOESN'T qualify for SA national colours in any form!!!!
To be honest .inviting a few jocks(also some great guys who represent nobody BTW) to compete against a local team,(picked on whose authority?)hardly constitutes a true "international test"
I am not knocking the fun value or that it might be good for racing but lets keep the credibility of our national colours intact.
There are very good cricketers and Rugby players who never quite made it so why bestow the honour on someone competing against the 17th best Jock in Britian?

It is not a case of being upset or not. The whole original PURPOSE was to give our jockeys Colours and the recognition they deserve. A non South African citizen cannot and should not get South African colours and by knowingly ( or not ) trying to do so is wrong wrong wrong. Hopefully I wont have to repeat myself AGAIN, after this. It is a PRIVELEDGE and a good thing that Jeff Llloyd is riding here but it is a disgrace that he is riding representing Sa. He should be in the international team.

This is not an "official" international jockey challenge, no South African colors are being represented, it is basically a South African invitational team against an International invitational team.

They can invite whomever they want to represent either contingent.

Leave Jeff alone for Gods sakes. He is a champion and a huge draw card. We now no longer have to worry about the issuance of colors because that isn't happening.

Let's enjoy the 2 days for what they are and let the bickering about Jeff go!

The bottom line is Jeff ( Great jockey )is not riding in SA colours ,so maybe justice has been done as he does not qualifiy for colours .
