If a trainer came to you and says someone has offered R400k for a horse when it`s really R600k ,you would want him hung drawn and quartered

On the other hand if an owner says I need to sell the horse and I want R400k.... and the trainer negotiates R600k ...{shrug}..For me no problem... all parties are happy.

the owner has to accept the sale and sign the ata....so up till that point he/she can seek as much advise as needed.
My father collected stamps, in 1988 a lightie came to his business with a box of stamps. He wanted R400 my father took 1 look in the box and saw 2 penny black stamps, he told the lightie that he could not buy the stamps from him but needed an adult there. The lightie came back with his parents, he had inherited the stamps from his grandad. My father asked why do you need the R400, he said it was toi buy a bmx. My dad confirmed they wanted to sell and then took the whole family up to garbs and told the lightie to choose a bmx....he chose 1 for R700 my dad paid and went away. The box ended up with 8 penny blacks and many other valuable stamps....should he have offered more or should they have done their research?
Today we have
google
gavelhouse
pirates
bloomberg
titch
hawkins
house of medoca
to name but a few "clever" people in the game. so to get a true valuation of this said horse could not have been difficult.

I know who the parties are, seems like the trainer maybe should have been happy with 10% but took more.
horses now at the vaal and 1 winner already in the bag.
