Derrick Flynne was different class he had every stable hand on his payroll and had people at every racecourse checking the gin.

@ JTL

Amphibian was an Oppenheimer horse and was on his bicycle looking assured of victory but about 2OO - 1OO mts from the winning post swerved violently to the left and crashed into the rail onto the outer road of the Clairwood Park course.

Jockey who was B Deyes I think was injured and horse put down. Trainer might have been John Breval?

Here I Am

Didn't have to reach too far back into the annals of history to find this notable smash and grab. Had earmarked the horse myself as one to watch next time - the start prior to the coup, the horse had led into the final 200 when it stumbled/jock fell off, so on paper run looked very poor, when it was anything but..

Bookmakers forgot to factor this in when pricing up, but some shrewd punters made X-Mas in May:)-D I myself felt robbed having only managed to grab some 14/1. Not sure how much volume of cash needed to shorten from 100 to 15/2 though, perhaps Carl Burger knows?

2012-05-02 Kenilworth 1200 ? 58.0 A B 5 1 -0.10 *LITTLE PEARL Craig Du Plooy 72.38 100/1 15/2 Very Soft R53360- MAIDEN JUVENILE PLATE 2yolds

Sir tekkietown never scared to punt his horses no matter the price when carl have confidence......and he shorten them bigtime with the amount he punt.
