There is no doubt that the blatant breaking of rules and total disregard for them needs to be sorted out and eradicated with immediate effect..

I think Steph Miller put the whole Bush racing form into perspective in an earlier post and put to bed the theory that punters are been given a raw deal with the lack of "transparency" regarding horses participation at these meetings..

TRAINER OF THE YEAR FLAMINGO PARK - Jaap Visser.

Do they deserve it? Don't think so. It is time the Visser yard is exposed.

They are abusing owners in their yard. They take horses on deals and at the end of the day they cannot pay their monthly expenses.
The next phone call is to the new owner for a loan. Eventually some owners see the light and don't want anything to do with them.
Know for a fact that they had to pay a large amount yesterday before 10 to accept horses. They accepted at 9.55. Did their prominent PE owner paid the money? Also know for a fact that they borrowed money for wages. They still owe the "late Peter Miller" a big amount, you can confirm with Steph Miller in Kbly. Buying horse feed is also a nightmare, they lie and sometimes even cry to con people to help them with horse feed.

They nominate and accept horses that are not in their yard. They get the horse two or three days before the race, the horse wins and "boom" another winner added to Jaap Vissers stats. Is this fair to other trainers chasing the championship?

Mrs Joanne Visser who "loves all her horses" only comes to the stable on noms and declaration days and only because she uses the club's telephone and fax. On race days she is an "expert" on the horses.

I think its also time the NHRA launches an investigation into their passports. Vaccinations get signed by a Jhb vet. When last did anybody see the Jhb vet, must be 18 months ago. It must be very easy to trace the vet's visits, Recall Security must sign him in at the security gate.

Also I think it's time that horses in their yard must be tested randomly. Maybe a surprise visit during the week or the morning before races.

To trainers, with integrity, the most important in their yard are their horses and then their owners. You cannot lie to an owner. It is so expensive to get a horse to the track and then to lie to your owners is a disgrace. In these difficult times trainers need to make it easy on owners, because they need them badly. I think any owner will appreciate when a trainer tells him immediately if there is something wrong with the horse or if the horse is not competitive. The Vissers run horses with low merit ratings in high merit rated races. Example Karlo that ran on 15 April over a 2200m with a merit rating of 66 in a Pinnacle race. Only 8 horses in the race, 3 of them not distance suited, and won the race. Instead of the normal 5 points for a Pinnacle race the horse got 14 points.( I know the Sham's turned this horse down, was already in their yard - must have their reasons.) The horse can now only run in Pinnacles. Is that clever, I don't think so, but they were greedy and couldn't be bothered about the horse, owner or punter, and racing needs punters as well.

Un-ethical people don't belong in racing. They should be exposed and wiped out.

The form is so muddled in kimb at the moment i dont think any serious punter would want to be burdend with any bush racing form believe me u would be out of pocket in a flash rather spend ur energy pushing the nhra to get stricter on form reversals
