guys you cant mention hong kong,singapore in the same breath as uk gr1 races.the only thing i will say is that our sprint horses can be competitive with gr1 horses around the world,but our classic distance horses are very weak compared to uk classic horses.mdk is spot on and he knows we breed a good horse,but not up to uk gr1 level unless we get a freak or two.

Winzip the Grade1`s in HK at the end of the year are among the best quality races on the planet

in s a we used to call our races graded races - grade 1 2 and 3 so we were not the same as group 1 which was England
are we still doing this in which case people are wrongly referring to the queens plate for eg as a group 1 instead of a grade 1
