Louis,

Of course the weaker horse will win more races than the stronger horse.
It is a handicap!
If that wasn't the case the top weight would always win.
Elementary.

But apart from that, you have to be specific.
You do not give any facts (call it stats, if you like).
Without that your comments have no value.
Anyone can make things up, or believe things are true.

Yes mister a, I have also tried to use MR and gone back to Co-Lateral form. I am more successful using the Co-Lat form. I also tried ur FormGrids but being colour blind just got me more confused so do my Form studing manually now.

formgrids is not just about co lateral form fogwils, in any event if you are colour blind just change the Grid info: box to position instead of race code

any which way you structure your handicapping system there will be flaws, claiming races may to be the best way forward

You are correct but any system that penalises placed horses before winners is flawed , as you are inviting trainers to hide their horses in a race if they cannot win the race.

i hear you and that is a huge problem, what id like to know as a punter is how or what method would the trainer use to "hide'' his horse ,

i have been punting a long while...and forgive my apathy...and to guys like Titch and Pirates..etc..dont slate me for say this...but does a kilo here and a kilo there make all the difference to a result...bearing in mind a horse weighs 500 odd kilos...the more pertinent information..for me is the racing weight....because if a horse is 10 kg's above his normal racing weight...but is for example as much as 5kg better off than the horse that beat him last time,,...it may as well be even 10 kg better off but still wont beat the victor....i just think with so many other variables that comes into play....u might as well just find out about the fitness off your horse that u want to back...and his well being and his prep...and that should suffice to make an informed decision
