In my top entry my I have 3 different horses. I have Yorker, Contador and Captain America to your Espumanti, Not Sulking and Hot Ticket.

I am disappointed in my sprint selections. Did not think through properly. And the one entry where I have Via and Contador....I currently have 6 points

2014 CHAMPIONS SEASON CHARITY TURF CHALLENGE (CTC)

The CTC Team are pleased to announce that this year the number of entries has not only exceeded our target but 2014 has also seen a record number of entries received in the competition since its inception. We THANK racings fans for their support!

The Gr.1 SA Fillies Sprint and the Gr.1 Golden Horse Casino Sprint were run at Scottsville on Saturday, 24 May. The latter is the first of the four bonus races in the competition and the winner, Normanz (Var), scored 30 prized points, 5 bonus points plus an added 5 points for paying over R15 on SAFTote. Second placed, Red Ray (Western Winter), a popular choice in this year’s competition, earned 14 points and 10 points was scored by Whiteline Fever (Right Approach) back in third place.

In the SA Fillies Sprint, Via Africa (Var) was all the rage in the competition and overwhelming SAFTote favourite and she bagged 20 points for her followers with a gutsy win, holding off a determined late challenge by Fly By Night (Jet Master) who scored 14 points and third placed Jet Aglow (Jet Master) scored 10 points.

The next major point scoring race meeting in the competition will feature the Gr.1 Daily News 2000, Gr.1 Woolavington 2000 and the Gr.3 Lonsdale Stirrup Cup worth a total of 105 points at Greyville Racecourse on Saturday, 31 May.
