We have 40 signatures so far. At this rate we might be able to form a political party and take on the ANC(:P)

I read on another racing website that the not to be muzzled advocate has already fired a volley and has sent some lengthy e-mails to the gambling board....some may think that his actions are a tad destructive but hey even lawyers have rights too.....the time for pussy footing with Phumelela are over.....they cannot even tie up a simple negotiation now they tread on intellectual property rights by making owners try pay to watch their intellectual property on TV....it seems that in the gambling act that what P is trying to propose is an infringement to the initial granting of their gambling licence which could now come under review......::o

sometimes an ill-prepared act can give you the opposite result from that what you expect - Not sure if there are many Boy Scouts in that organization as the motto "Be Prepared" seems to have eluded them .

I am enjoying the Internet feed. Punting less and spending more family time. Why support a sport that clearly gives a damn about their clients. Their is a tote terminal in the bookies here. Gold circle does not even provide the toilet paper for their staff in the tote. We are dealing with people that are so used to milking the cow that they have lost all perspective. I am glad we have this crisis. Maybe a time for a clear out in phumulela, starting with arrogant Vee Moodley.

By the way the Hoolywood staff are great. There are daily draws for R25/R5o betting vouchers. There are free snacks on weekends. You can bring your own drinks and enjoy with your friends,. There are music in the car park for promotions on certain weekends. Overall. Areal effort to keep the clients happy.

I quote from a clansman, something like "the value of Phum's/TT's intellectual property must be zero. Simply because Multichoice doesn't want it nor does anyone else". If there are no buyers or lessees how can there be a value in a market?

I am not certain if Vee Moodley can be held accountable for any of this. His job is to drive tote turnover so no Tellytrack coverage on DSTV will send the man into major depression. The same applies for Clyde Basel. He is constantly looking for race sponsors. Do you think he will be able to hold onto the current race sponsors if the channel ends ? You think Sansui will still be around if they cannot get an audience on DSTV ? No chance !

they are all to blame....besides being part of the big P think tank.....they have always been up against the bookies over the open bet,,,,, a stance they have indoctrinated into their very core....::o

True you are right about the sponsors. This must have really been a shock. But surely they must have done risk analysis, but Muhtiman is right, they have Ben indoctrinated to their core focussing on the bookies as their rivals. A case of greed being their own downfall. All should resign is my suggestion. I can't see this lot getting them out of it. By the way what experience or qualifications did Clyde Basel have when took the executive position.
