has the petition been recognized by the concerning parties.

They cannot recognise who funds the industry so unlikely that they will recognise the needs of the concerned parties...

With no news coming from Tellytrack it seems obvious that they are desperately trying to engage with Multichoice. It's also pretty obvious that they do not have a 'PLAN B' in place should this fail.

But they have time to issue ('jointly with P' ::o) a detailed response on the dispute with the bookmakers :S

A birdie whispered into my ear that at the last possible moment Tellytrack will announce an 18 month extension with Multichoice.

And we will all pledge our never-ending loyalty and devotion to our saviour and master, P...for if they couldn't do it for and to the punter, nobody could have or can...

I was told the other day that there was a plan a, b and c to fall back on

Ps I know Phum and TT are not happy with the wording of the petition , but you would think that some of the presenters and staff would sign

well if any plan requires decoders and an ICASA home license then I really doubt that will come true according to the vagueness of the Stuart invitation to bookmakers

I still cannot believe that Phumelela are keeping us in the dark. We are an anxious bunch us punters and some news would be appreciated.

The Tellytrack presenters have obviously being drilled to behave as if it's all "business as usual"
Discussions about Classic Day and Dubai WC night as if they will be broadcast and yet the programme is preceded by the slide advising closure-the situation is very deceptive !!

ah so there is a contingency plan....thought for a couple of days there it was a case of holding everyone at ransom because bookies won't budge (who needs who again?)
