why should a trainer change his methods of training if the horse cost 5000 rand or 5 million rand?

Craig, you was assistant to Alistair Gordon who trained the dam of the new Brutal Force, Naccarat. How good was Naccarat has she never raced more than 5 times and came from a line of well bred siblings ?

If the horse is not ready to win it should not run

A punter without information should be able to back a horse at least race fit

bob I hear you but mr ramsden is not known to get stuck into horses to win first time out and punters by now should know this ...any trainer will tell you that there is nothing like a race to bring a horse on in fact iv heard trainers say its worth 4 to 6 home gallops ... you can blow a horses mind by doing to much with it at home as well so rather let him have an enjoyable experience first time out and if he wins on pure natural ability so be it but no reason to hamper any horses career by winding him up

Mill Reef was my favourite racehorse beaten twice (second) and won 10 times, for the record My Swallow beat him in France but Mill Reef got his revenge in the 2000 gns but Brigadier Gerard beat them both that day!

Great memories won the Derby and Arc
