Marinaresco wins both the QP and the Met without a fuss.

He was given a soft ride. Whip only used towards the end. Plus sick during the week?

today i saw the met winner and its not legal eagle.i will take as many multiples as i can from now until the met onto marinaresco.some good racing today from kenilworth and i hope to catch p6 and pot as im loaded in the next 2 races.

For me it was the first time that Marinaresco has actually shown that he can run with (and beat) the best - he always had the potential - now he has shown he is right up there - and I for one would be sitting on the fence as far as the QP and Met goes between the two

Agree with you Frodo, probably best to take multiples with BOTH horses into the met, to play it safe.

Imvho, the eagle is a better miler and will win the qp whereas marinaresco will be hard to beat in the met.

WELL put chris i agree 100 percent with you in fact marinaresco has more chance of beating legal over a mile than legal has of beating him over 2000m...it will be a sad day if and when both leave s.a to compete in the states come after the met

I have a small feeling in my cajones for Lady of the House to earn. Touched 100/1 on HB so had a R10 eachway.. not going to hurt me. Swingers with Maleficient and Safe Harbour
