Knowles has Fourie,Candice,Brett Crawford and Bloomberg.Should be good

Bloomberg alone would have been enough imo - knows his stuff and very little waffling :cheer:

Bloomberg can also be insulting.

I will be watching and hopefully Crawford and Bass can guide us as to the well being of there runners for Saturday, because they have some big runners in most of the feature races.

Not that I have anything against 'stable info' - but let's face it all the trainers think they can win - so with respect to the stable 'representatives / contributors', I can pretty much predict what they are going to say ... B)

So I' rather listen to some independant form analysis - and that's what the Ringer will give - no matter on whose toes he steps ;)

Early Selections

Race 1:
Zud Wes if he comes from well off the place will be a huge runner but the Snaith boys as usual will go hard so I expect Cuban Emerald and Swarovski to be right there.

Race 2:
Dutch Phillip; Princess Peach, Namibia, Nanna Anna

Race 3:
Warrior's Rest, Riker's Island; Sir Frenchie

Race 4:
Sargeant Hardy

Race 5:
William Longsword; Singapore Sling

Race 6:
Trip to Heaven; Brutal Force; Carry on Alice, Daring Dave, Rivarine

Race 7:
Silver Mountain, Star Express; Goodtime Gal;Lady of the House; Nightingale

Race8:
Horizon, Elevated, Edict of Nantes

Race 9:
Marinaresco, Whisky Bravo; Legal Eagle; It's my Turn' Mambo Mime, Gold Standard

Race 10:
Ovidio, Helderberg Blue, Three Balloons

Race 11:
Lineker, Catkin, Eighth Wonder, Overshadow

Race 12:
Silvan Star

Race 13:
Miss Hyde, Lovely Rita, Gimme Six

Agree with Frodo .......I enjoy Bloomberg and Maree particularly as they give input which isn't just a verbalisation of Computaform.
I also enjoy the fact that the Ringer gives his opinion, regardless of sensitivities(remember Abashiri in the July)

The more I look at the first race, the more I'm convinced Rodney is the one to beat. Looking at the betting, I am comfortable Rodney has the beating of Captain Swarovski, Orion Quest and La Favourari, to the extent that they are easing in the betting, 4/1 the field right now.

The money horse is Zud Wes, actually 9/1 into 6/1. On paper Zud Wes should not finish ahead of Fire Master, and tackles much stronger than he recently beat.

Here's the key for me, Rodney's merit rating has dropped 5 points from a 97 to a 92, his last 5 runs were in plated races where he was invariably badly weighted, so those efforts are not as bad as they appear, he is back in handicap company, and that will make Rodney very competitive in this line-up come Saturday.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
