The carryover going forward on the first Pick 6 on Saturday at Kenilworth, Sun Met day, has been increased to R2.2 million and the pool is now expected to reach R8 million.
“The carryover at Turffontein on Tuesday has enabled us to give and even bigger boost to the Pick 6 pool,” said Vee Moodley, Executive Director: Sports Betting for Phumelela.
The carryover announced earlier was R1.5 million with the pool estimated to be R7 million. However, with some massive upsets at Tuesday’s Turffontein meeting a carryover of R702,352 was announced and that money has been moved to Saturday.
“Don’t forget we also have a second Pick 6 on the day, from Race 8 to Race 13, and another R500,000 will be added to that pool,” said Moodley.
Pool will be well above R9 million

Another horse that's doing well is French Navy. Not too much details on that but the market suggests otherwise as it was smacked from 40/1 into 25/1. You'll be lucky to get 16/1 on met day. Hope this helps.
FRENCH NAVY is now 16/1

I see Gold Standard has been sold to Drakenstein Stud. With engagement. Keep in mind.

Think he thought his good horses were further along in their preps than they were. suspect they will be closer now.
If SGt Hardy isn't challenged early( I think he blows up if he is) then he will be hard to peg back and must be his best chance . I actually like Its my turn to run close in met
Yip I agree on the Sergeant probably hard to beat, but imo Ovidio represents his best chance - really hard to find anything that can beat him on those weight terms - so imo at best he will have 2 winners on the day

After The Ringer mentioned this, I went back to have a look at his form - I fancied Mac De Lago as a quartet horse based on his July run, but closer inspection shows that French Navy should have the beating of MDL (based on the July run) and on his run in the Champions Challenge he easily holds MDL - and with the 2 kgs he gets from Legal Eagle, there could be very little between them (also based on the Champions Challenge) - a must inclusion in the quartet and not the worst choice as an outsider

Discussion panel, summary, couldn't type all the analysis but for what's its worth, this is there comments
Race 1 - Candice - Rodney and Zud wes.
Zud wes is probably stable elect, better suited to 1200m. Well-weighted, a big runner.
Robert Bloomberg - Zud wes - nice EW bet, would be his first choice, wide opened race tho
Brett - Orion, not soundest, must be respected, open race. Never settle has a chance at the weights
Fourie - open race
Race 2 - Robert Bloomberg - 2 horse race, dutch philip and namibia, lotsa of money for kasimir but has to be a champion to win here.
Candice - dutch philip - hard horse to beat
Fourie - dutch philip, has to be respected, horse to beat.
Call to account - big filly, a lil green first time out, dillon won't ride if no chance?
Fourie expects fields to crowd on the outside of course
Brett - feeling lucky - back end of quartets,
Klopp needs further
Race 3 - Brett - bold respect - big runner
Fourie - happy with his mount Gold image, versatile, expecting big run, add sir frenchie, bold respect. Captain my captain.
Candice - Big mistake - better suited to 1000m,
Has ability, bernie, 2nd to sir frenchie, fit and well, hopeful.
Robert Bloomberg - Gold image if stays, wins, danger barack street and wonderwall must be respected.
Race 4 - Candice - live life, beat carry on alice WFA terms, on that form, a runner.
Robert Bloomberg - sergeant hardy, tough to beat, value elusive path.

Race 6 - Brett - gulf storm - blinkers back on to sharpen, tough race, search party space for improvement, 1000m better suited, respect red ray and trip to heaven.
Candice - Tevez, consistent, back to 1000m, good value, trip to heaven one to beat, red ray
Robert Bloomberg - Carry on alice false favorite, red ray 1000m might be sharp. Trip to heaven first choice. tevez coming into form, search party a runner over 1000, riverine not sure
Fourie - Jo's bond - tough. Carry on alice false fav. Riverine a chance, search party and gulf storm big runners. Trip to heaven loses lengths at start but still got a chance.
Race 7 - Candice - silver mountain - bad draw, hoping to get a run in from that draw.
Nightingale don't discount, a mile touch on the sharp side, open race.

Have to say I think 13 races are too many - imo even hardened punters will be hard pushed to remain committed to the end - of course it's nice for the owners, but I myself will not be tempted to have a bet in the last 3 races - also being handicaps they are very difficult from a punter's point of view
