I had the privilege of being in partnership with Oscar on a horse called MJ Thriller. It was the greatest pleasure. Even when our boy picked up colic, Oscar didn't think twice about the cost nor if the horse could race again. It was only about the horses well-being and he fixed him. MJ lost his racing ability subsequently, but Oscar still ensured his life was special. I have pics of this horse on the beach, playing in the sand, eating up a storm, all while he was costing a packet for keep and medical bills. He then went on to become a really awesome show jumper. Why Oscar has not been blessed with many grade 1's as yet, only goodness knows. Well deserved my mate, and my old man and I always have utmost respect for you as a person and your love for these wonderful animals.
Back to the thread though Tank... Regardless of who did what, it is absolutely heartbreaking to see Golden in that shape. We are truly a sick species, us humans.

I would love to tell the story on ABC about what happened in 2001, but I would have to think about how to write it correctly in order to bring out the comedy. ..I recall something about my speling which was not rite. Something about spelling a count without a o. ...or something like that...
The point is that u have put something on an open forum but cannot handle the fact that there appears, to the many horsepeople on this site, to be another side to the story.
You never set out asking for advice ( which u clearly do need), instead you had a go at Trainers and blamed a Trainer at Vaal, where I am Trainer Representative ( and have the balls to do my job properly). Any 5th grader could have found out who the mystery Trainer was.....
Come on a public forum and sling some mud....but don't expect to have everyone agree with you. Myself and many in Racing have found out, very quickly, that most of the ABC forumites are seasoned racing people who know horses inside out. And yes, we often disagree, quite vehemently, with each other. That's simply because racing is based on opinion. Don't like it ? Then don't post. Simple.
Recently, I called Oscar and asked for advice on a medical technicality, related to a need for a particular horse. And he answered me promptly, with excellent advice.
Muhtiman has forgotten what most Trainers must still learn about equine nutrition and he is also very well informed about polymers and track construction. And he spots very special breeding crosses, long before they become commercial.
Pirates is someone that I just do not see often enough , to catch up with, in terms of racing. You will be very surprised at his knowledge. I can spend hours talking with him and will always walk away wiser.
Titch has been in the game as long as I can remember. Tellina knows his stuff. Rob Faux has often disagreed with me, but his knowledge of handicapping is truly next level. And then there are many other forumites that I have not mentioned....
This is NOT a forum for mugs....!
So, please do not object or threaten, when they give their opinion. The only forumite that I have not yet found on ABC, is one who does not care for the horse.

Hi guys I wasn't going to respond but it looks like WMM has not liked the above comment from Pirates. (See the below screenshot)
Please be respectful with responses as i don't want ABC to stoop as low as WMM
After all we only tried to help and offer expert opinion s

the truth hurts bob and as lg says not everyone is a mug on here...i have seen first hand the shocking and disgusting manner this man has behaved towards my trainer and lady friend and eventually had to get a top lawyer to sort him out and have seen the way he has treated other individuals in this game..im not going to stoop to his levels as theres more i could say about him but will remain silent ..he can call me what he wants as i take it from where it comes...
