It is numbers that have taken me years and many sleepless nights to document - comes from my standard winning time charts.
Some further reading can be recommended in the book Mordin On Time - and obviously race times are just a small part of horse racing - basically just a starting point in each race.

The question you ask can pretty much be answered by anyone on this forum - 1 length , in time differs depending on the distance you are calculating - obviously a smaller number the shorter the distance.
