I will put together a system which encompasses medians, benchmarks, average comparatives, WFA scales, analytical data manipulation by unscrupulous persons etc etc. Ill put this together tonight & tip all the winners starting from tomorrow.

Unless Cosmic burst wins :) :cheer: :P :P

Sorry Tony - you obviously been offended, I guess that's my queue to stop posting - once again my sincere apologies. Guess I will just browse the posts as there is really valuable input here.

Going to row in with Diamond In The Sky.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Trainers Like M.de Kock, and some others defy mathematical form analysis --- but Just as you compile track profiles, you need to profile trainers.

Following jockeys or trainers though is likely a quick route to the poor house.

Not quite following -

Ok, I didn't look at that - but at the start of every day, I scan the indexes for trainers with one runner for the day, trainers with small strings, and jockey strikes - like N.Kotzen and Cumulus. Lucky At Last - etc. Indeed most stables will progress - some never do.
.....not many did hence the R16/drum.....the trainer may have been one of the best jockeys this country has produced.....yet he is not really rated as a trainer as far as the stats go.....yet he sends everything out trying more often with appies and lesser rated jocks....when his horses do find the frame they are at big odds.....shit been waiting for this one to find the frame as the genetics are not too shabby....

Well done there, we need to do what works for us - and that is a good return.

Any ideas?

Haven't studied but don't you think If Only R9 has a good winning chance, good form ,good draw and jockey strike.I mean looking past her you practically need half the field

Fancy Diamond In The Sky as a bit of a lurker ,,,,

steady rain in Durban most of the day

Wasn't she weighted to win this time MOMF?She was 10MR points higher than the winner but carrying 1.5kg's less.Ok she is a 3 year old compared to Lunar Rush who is 4 but taking that into account wasn't she still well weighted?

She was very well-weighted according to the official ratings. But I was just thinking in comparison to hard knockers like Isingamoya, VTK, I thought it was a very good effort getting only 3kgs on what was her first run after rest.

Adams, I apologize !! I am not offended. Just a bit of bad humour on a difficult day. Perhaps I can just add the following. You obviously have put a lot of time & effort in your systems & calculations. What bugs me is that very seldom do you commit to giving or advising us of a potential winner or positive course of action. Reading, what seems like pages of your informed opinions, only to be told there is no bet advised is extremely aggravating.
Being told that only "Gamblers" would get involved in most of the races is quite annoying, & offensive as I, & quite a few others on this forum are gamblers.
On certain occasions you tell us "the plan came together" or "business done" or something like that. I found no record of you advising us regarding the aforementioned claims.
I enjoy the forum, different opinions, yours included, threads etc but it would be nice to be committal regarding 1 or 2 horses winning on a day.
Either way, please keep posting as I am sure there are those who value your input.

......yeah a bad day no matter how one went about it.....for me there were no stand out put your head down wagers as the fields were very open and very mediocre a sign of the time when not many are stepping out the class.....went wide but not wide enough in race 5 where I thought that the field could apply but could not bring myself to add the eventual winner and one other.. ..landed up squandering my early gains on messy races where a more savvy and disciplined "gamblers" would have given a wide berth..... :S
