I wouldn't write the favourite off just yet, the horse pulling the hardest was the favourite, we'll let time be the judge. My humble opinion, the scratching Diamante was a clever move by Dixon, one which did not pay off though, because had she stayed in the race, there would have been a much more "solid" pace to the race. The move almost paid off, unfortunately Queen's Plain expended a lot of energy fighting the jockey, and the weight told on Fantasy Lady.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Don't know how I put Amor Ardiente in here when I meant to put lebeona in thus Lebeona*Crime Victim*Ever Dear*Black Cashmere in any order.

But this is not llikely the result unless we get a really strung out field off a hot pace

You are right Mr H. Thanks. I watched the replay a couple of times. Either the jock or the horse shirked the narrow gap next to the rail. Not saying it would have won, just saying......
