You obviously have put a lot of time & effort in your systems & calculations. What bugs me is that very seldom do you commit to giving or advising us of a potential winner or positive course of action. Reading, what seems like pages of your informed opinions, only to be told there is no bet advised is extremely aggravating.
Being told that only "Gamblers" would get involved in most of the races is quite annoying, & offensive as I, & quite a few others on this forum are gamblers.
On certain occasions you tell us "the plan came together" or "business done" or something like that. I found no record of you advising us regarding the aforementioned claims.
I enjoy the forum, different opinions, yours included, threads etc but it would be nice to be committal regarding 1 or 2 horses winning on a day.
Either way, please keep posting as I am sure there are those who value your input.
Sir,
I cannot force a winner - rarely in the game will you find standouts - and we have here on ABC.
Today especially was very wide open
I know professional punters that will not take a bet in 3 days, then have one for the day.
I have never held myself out to be any type of tipster - but i will unashamedly say that more often than not the race pans out the way i saw it - but that does not mean there was any gambling opportunity there.
If I advise that a race in which 10 horses are to be strung across the finish line is only for gamblers - you get offended by that ?
I am only here sir to air my views, because many times the posts of other clanners have pushed me in a direction that I might have lacked confidence, highlights something that i overlooked, adds some useful information, etc.
I am certainly not here to give tips - i am too cautious of character for that - yet it seems that you have assigned me some kind of responsibility to produce winning tips for you?
I might be naive, but i do think that I can very often narrow down the contenders in a race, and perhaps that has value to some- confidence to choose one and back it on the nose is lacking - as stated before I am too cautious a natured gambler, so sometimes get that confidence from other members here.
So let me re-iterate, I am not a tipster -- If I had the winners I would not be posting them all over a public forum - we are merely each of us discussing the way we see events.
If memory servers me correctly I have only ever claimed two winners on this forum RIVER GARDEN and BOATSWAINE if you have read anywhere else that i claimed a winner or made these suggestions i think you might be misinterpreting my general comments about results relative to my previews -- I forget TROPICAL'S SON and one other GARDEN-- SOMETHING that was clearly posted as my selection.

LOL --- Just watch what happens when you post for everyone to pile in, and the horse loses, that isn't for me

I'm just trying to feed off the knowledge and comments of everyone on the forum just like everyone else, trying to find a decent winner here and there , and make some input -- it;s disturbing if anyone put's an expectation upon you to produce winners, when I am battling to get them myself.
I have got this down to such a fine art, have come so close --- but just battle to make that final decision --- last thing i want is anyone following me, as if I know anything --- I am learning, and have learn't so much from members on this foorum....hopefullly one day I will get to the point where I can actually committ to one of the horses --- but remember, every horse running is trying to win, and mostly every participant has some kind of chance.

Ok, enough of that
I need to go and complete the study of tomorrows card. After almost 40 years I finally found that a simple =if(and(,,,,,,) formula pasted in a spreadsheet cell can perform calculations that used to take me all night, in 1 minute --- am i enjoying this?
