What the hell is Bernard Fayd'Herbe doing the last 2 races,
Good stall position last 2 races and stuck on the back on 2 fancied horses, gave them zero chance

Good comment by Alistair in the studio."What amazes me is that Platinum Class kept on drifting and ran accordingly."It's as if the bookies already knew the horse was going to be at the back of the field and be given bugger all chance of winning.

So what do you read into this Durbs?
In Durb's defence, bookies are not in the business to give money away, so the drift is alarming and worrying from a punter's perspective. You could ask, was 5/10 a realistic opening price for starters, with hindsight, no. On another realistic note, maybe the horse didn't travel well, or like other visiting stable, it may need it's first run in the province. Lastly, the horse should drift because of support for another runner, if not, it takes a really brave person to back the drifting horse after an alarming drift. Ultimately, it will reach a price where punters believe it to be correctly priced and there will be some late money.
Personally, I wouldn't back the horse, but good luck to those who do.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Just heard Stan say that Matthew didn't sound too confident...maybe that's why the drift. The fear factor is that MDK DID take the horse to Cape!
