Good stall position last 2 races and stuck on the back on 2 fancied horses, gave them zero chance
At no stage of the race did he attempt to get into a better position. Last 200mts he suddenly starts pushing the horse just so that it can finish in 4th. Shocking!!!!

7 years 6 months agoAs Bayern said maybe something not right with the favorite. Now it's running unshod in front but the drift was there even before this happened.I wouldn't take 3-1 now.Lionel wrote:durbs wrote: Fayd'herbe on a drifting favorite again here.Afdeek from 5-10 out to 12-10.Money coming for Tony T's fancy.

racing in cape town is becoming a farce .. that was a crooked race ...hotpot favorite gets his feet hit up.. delaying the start ..only to try their best to figure out how they will con us out of our money...that horse had no chance in hell to win his race.. and bwt i never banker the favorite..
its month end .. the compete with the casinos so they will hit it hard to make a carryover pick6 to boost the pools for the weekend...
watch fairview tomorrow the trend will continue...BIG CROOKS ...

what happened to afdeek and the punters who took bets early on is a really a frightening and disappointing show.

I would still really like to know why so many SA horses have to have shoes re-fitted or taken off at the start. You see that once a year in places like UK,HK,Singapore and USA,if that actually. Here it happens nearly every race meeting. Is it our tracks or poor quality materials or poor workmanship? It definitely affects the way horses run after that and punters get a raw deal again.

On days like this, when the early results are not punter friendly, one or two fancied ones arrive at the back end when most have no money left, watch.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
