Well I must say when I opened this thread to discuss the betting, never imagined it would cause this amount of discussion on USA politics.

Must say I am personally more concerned about Ramaphosa and Malema

Not sure of the odds on a Donald/Julius double. 😳

Dave, the thing about the US elections is, the policies of the elected party shapes the economies of the entire world.
Look at Clinton's GATT policy, that basically set China up to become what it is today, and also resulted in a blood bath in local manufacturing industries, most notably textile. SA lost 100s of thousands of jobs due to it.

I cannot for the life of me understand how the supposed greatest democracy in the world can have a choice like they do surely there are better Americans then these that could stand for office. Trump called it a swamp and it is one of the things he got absolutely correct in my humble opinion.
I personally hope that Trump will win this election if for no other reason than to see the democrats try to protect their nominee from prosecution.

We as peace-loving citizen in this country should be very afraid of what is happening today in Senekal and our government is standing but doing nothing to calm the situation down. We should be trying to fix our own problems and let the Americans de cide who the get for the next 4 years and live with the consequences

Still to close to call.

USA media underestimate white unhappiness with democrats in most states. California and New York are anomalies.

Florida is the big battle ground

Trump campaign still to release more Biden secret dealings in Ukraine.

Watching these two candidates I would not want either to operate a car let alone have the most important job in the world... Who says God does not have a sense of humor...
And looking at the money raised by each campaign it is clear to see that Biden is just a talking head supported by big business so that should dispel any fears of the second coming of the Communist Red tide - Red or Blue its all the same but where I worry is that neither candidate seems to have any true ability to solve the racial tensions that need resolution(not only black vs white but Chinese and Muslim tensions) - If these flair up again, which they will, then don't be surprised to see it manifest in South Africa - The world needs a tempered sane leader in these times of economic strife - 2021 is going to be one hell of a ride

LOL, Craig.

Getting back to the betting, don't know if you heard the latest that Binden's son, Hunter, sent his laptop for repairs and never collected it. The repair store retrieved what was on the hard-drive, including, loads of e mails regards his Ukrainian dealings, as well as some dealings with China. The store released the e mails to the New York Post, who handed it over to the Law. This is the whole Twitter debacle who apparently tried to suppress the article.

Think four years back, then maybe the Trump supporters should lump on the current price, whatever it is.
