3 Horse Racing South Africa KENILWORTH RACE 5 2020-12-19 15:35 1. MISSISIPPI BURNING M/Win 1.52 Pending

You heard the what Adam Marcus had to say before the race.
Had a problem with the prep, not sure about the distance and most importantly he told Aldo if the horse can't win then take it easy on her.
Unfortunately the horse couldn't win from the jump as it missed the break and Aldo sure did take it easy on her but never looked like running a place anyways.

Helps f@& all when it’s the 2nd leg of the p6, Marcus should have made this known to the public!!!

Or scratch the horse if he was so concerned

Lost all respect for this youngster as a trainer - and i"m talking from my pocket.

Take Mississippi Burning out this race. the winner is 5/10 in this field

Fully agree with you Super Red.
But we not supposed to argue or moan about a trainer not doing his job properly or a jockey riding to instructions and giving the horse an easy ride when they can't win or farriers not being able to put a a shoe on a horse that actually stays on before the race is run.
We must just accept this rubbish and carry on punting.

And remember all the jockey has to say is that he felt something amiss and that's it debate over.

You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried.

Guys please Adam was pretty transparent before the race, she was my NAP today but it`s a hard game training these horses and we have to accept there are bad runs

Sure but he should have never said on air that he told the jockey if she can't win then take it easy on her. That's blatantly not trying isn't it?
That goes against every rule in horse racing and you can't blame the punter for being pissed.

Bob, the playing field is level for all the trainers, if your horse has a set-back, so be it, there is always next year if you feel the horse is good enough. A similar thing happened to Do It Again, think back.

Trainers will admit, there is nothing like a race as opposed to a training gallop. You free to ban me from the site because i will never post ever again.
