Being monitoring the betting since it opened on both HW and WSB, and played a trixie :-

R3) Green With Envy (HW : 3/1 - 22/10 - 2/1 - 18/10) (WSB : 22/10 - 19/10)
Despite having to concede weight to the majority of the field, he has competed against stronger and should be the one they all have to beat. Think he will start much shorter than the current price. Did have an on the head strike, if winning, opens lots of other multiple options which is the idea.

R5) Winter Cloud (HW : 6/1 - 7/2 - 3/1 - 28/10 - 5/2 - 2/1) (WSB : 33/10 - 3/1 - 28/10- 5/2 - 22/10)
They betting 7/1 bar one, Domeyer's carded weight is 58.0kg, has to make the riding weight of 56.5kg, hope he is working on this. That aside, she is well in here and if the market is anything to go by, she is the one to be with.

R7) Beach Bomb (HW : 33/10 - 5/2 - 22/10 - 5/2) (WSB : 7/2 - 26/10 - 28/10)
Say again, think this is a superstar, emotions aside, during Sunday's card call, whilst Candice gives both her charges a chance, to me, she was leaning towards Beach Bomb having the better winning chance.

I really can't see this one paying bombs

Dave, couldn't  agree more..... I don't  think P6  will pay more than 2 g  IF  SEE IT AGAIN WINS, plus 1 or 2 other hottest.. 

Question is........ are the bookies in for a hiding or not ! 

These big race day's, with such good stakes on offer, every horse is a trier. When it looks too obvious, that's when the bookies make money. Not saying none of the fancied horses will arrive. If i played a P6, i would go field in the last leg in the hope of rolling the favourite. Structuring the P6 is important, maybe split the budget and play two, one with your fancies, and the other to roll a fancy or two.

As a matter of interest, what was the shortest priced favourite to win the Met and what was the SP?

Good guide Scott,thanks. The second leg of the pic6 ,I am going to add all the other drakenstein horses and box the quartet as well .Think they can fill the first 4 with an upset winning.
 

If there is going to be an upset in the met which can happen then I don't think its going to come from the Snaith Combo .Think Rascallion under the Bernard drive ,might be the one to cause the upset .If you look at the size of the field ,I suspect they are going to run over the course to the standside with lots of hard luck stories .Bernard might just do it.
