Cometh the hour, cometh the fine filly (my own garbage on an old adage).

R7, six months ago Princess Calla beat the ruling WSB Met favourite, See It Again, at weight for age terms. Subsequently crowned Horse Of The Year. Three weeks ago, Princess Calla was beaten by Beach Bomb also at weight for age terms. Can a 6 year old mare improve much further?, whereas i think there's much more improvement to come from the 3 year old, .Beach Bomb.

Whilst many are of the opinion the race wasn't run to suit Princess Calla, maybe she was beaten by the better horse? Watch the race again, Beach Bomb was last turning into the straight and literally fetched them. If the ratings are somewhat correct, Red Palace has a bit to find. Hope she goes and sets a fast pace because that's the only way to make Princess Calla "feel the weight", however i do believe Beach Bomb will run them down again.

Elvis,I have this feeling Rascallion is going to win the Met.'Panel Beater' will be looking to make his run on the extreme outside and motor home .Think an EW on Rascallion will be a good bet.Pic6 3 horses for me ,See it Again ,Rascallion and Sugar Mountain. Quartet triple float with the field.

See it again looks like a worthy banker in the ninth
in my other P6 will be backing up with Pacaya, Royal Aussie, and Sugar mountain for the upset

Race 1 and 2 would love to see a small yard win those races. But looks like a marshall/Snaith Exacta will suffice
Race 3 Tough race. Cape Guineas form not convinced yet.
Race 4 have not figured the weights out. But i am a quasiforsure fan
Race 5 No ride for Fourie??? Shantastic for me
Race 6 Isivunguvungu. hurts typing the name but looks the right one
Race 7 Make it snappy rested but top horse 2 time grade 1 winner. why keep her in training unless they think she can win few more grade 1'
Race 8 Strydom/Peter and the Muscutt and Muscutt horse
Race 9 See it Again looks a banker. If i was snaith i would try muddle the pace to upset the champ.
Race 10 Aragosta good bet at the weights
Race 11 Peregrine Falcon in a 20 horse maiden but that is a tough race.
