So I watched the Card Call on Sunday and the WSB representative stuck by his guns saying that he didn't see why it made sense for Mucho Dinero to run taking the potential risk to his MR with July in mind,  and then doubled down at the end of the show when he said he'd believe Mucho would take his place when he saw it, and then followed up today by explaining in the pre race preview today why Double Superlative was way more than just a ' hopeful '.

Great to see

4 out of top 5 ran to about their ratings...See It Again likely too far back to make up ground...think it's a horse that needs to run handy and it can sustain pace rather than come from off the pace and blow past horses...my two cents worth...

I think one has to note the Sectional Times for this race - perhaps Heinrich has done his analysis - imo the pace was 'ok' - but Striker said it was 'horrible'; don't think Strydom did too much wrong - the horse was a shadow of himself winning the Green Point - not sure what the plans are, but imo if they want to win more races with him (unless something wrong was detected with the horse), he would need to be gelded (and I think that is unlikely) - on the other hand maybe he will be sent to join Charles Dickens at stud ?

Outstanding performance imo was Sugar Mountain - would be interesting to see what the Handicapper does ....
