If you don't fancy Dialed In then you have more chance of finding Waldo then finding the winner of the Derby.

I predict that the Superfecta (quartet) will pay a small fortune!!!

Tommy ,what about Soldat ?

His form before his last start seems good , any excuses for his laclustre last run?

His sire, War Front might indicate that Soldat has some stamina limitations. His last run was not good at all and after making the lead he faded pretty tamely.

For me the only thing he has in his favor is the jock, Martin Garcia!

Animal Kingdom (30-1)
Likes long races and won this year's Spiral Stakes. But he
has never run on dirt. He has only 4 career starts and top it
off his jockey just got out of jail a month ago. His
current odds seem a bit off and might end up one of the betting
favorites.

Nehro (6-1)
Peaking at just the right time. This horse is a closer and
this race seems to favor that. The rider is a bit odd so
hopefully he doesn't make a mistake but the trainer is
solid. This may be the most logical choice.

Shackleford (12-1)
Had some excellent workouts the last two weeks. Needs to
stay a few lengths back and make a move at the turn to win.
This could be the upset winner.

Brilliant Speed (30-1)
Blue Grass winner a few weeks ago but only has 2 races on
dirt. Not a front runner but can make up lengths at the
end to sneak into the money.

Stay Thirsty (20-1)
Less know than stablemate Uncle Mo, this horse has a good
chance. The trainer is good and has a outstanding jockey.
Another possible upset winner.

I think if you ask 10 different handicappers about the outcome of this race you will get 10 different first 4 selections. It is quite literally the most difficult race to handicap in many a decade!!!!

Breaking news from Louisville........

Team Valor has decided to replace their jock, Robbie Albarado with Jonnie Velasquez. Unfortunately Albarado got stepped on by a horse and has a facial injury. He is not riding today so therefore the partnership acted to secure a rider today.......

If you have been following you will now know that Uncle Mo is scratched so Velasquez became available.

In my mind they could not possibly have found a better rider for their horse. He is top class!!!

He will, imo, almost certainly start shorter than his current 30/1 morning line. If you can get a fixed 30/1 bet you might want to take some!!

Just been announced on Tellytrack, they will NOT be broadcasting the KD tomorrow night....:X
